Marie entered the parking lot at a low speed. She was driving one of Action’s cars. She looked around the parking lot as she drove around to see if she saw Wise. The parking lot was packed with cars, just how it was when she used to work there. She decided to go towards to back of the lot, thinking that it would make her safer. Paranoia started to sink and her heart was racing like a marathon runner.

Two taps on the window almost made her jump out of her skin. Even though the windows were tinted, somehow Wise still knew which car was hers. Slowly, Marie stepped out and came face to face with the man she had gone crazy over. He was still handsome, but this time, he had no interest in showing that he was happy to see her.

“Hi, Wise,” she said barely above a whisper.

“So, what’s the deal? Why you here? What, Bora Bora wasn’t like you thought it would be?” Wise looked down on her with five hundred dollar frames on his face.

“I had to come back, Wise. I was going broke. I couldn’t live off that money forever.”

“Well, you should have let me know something. I really meant the shit when I said for you not to come back.”

“I know, but I was hoping you would let me see Piper, and then I would go back,” she pleaded inside, hoping that he would give in.

“See Piper for what? She’s good,” Wise said in disgust.

“Because, I’m her mother. Every little girl needs her mama.” She choked up.

“Piper has a mother. She has a responsible one and not no crazy ass, brake cutting bitch like you. Listen to me, Marie, because I’m done being nice to you. You gonna leave this fucking time and be gone for good. I’m not giving you any money, so you gonna have to figure all this shit out on your own. You ain’t seeing my daughter. I don’t want her anywhere near you.”

Marie broke down. All she had was Piper and he had taken her away. It killed her that she couldn’t get a chance to hold her daughter or kiss her face. She now hated Wise. She hated him so much that she wanted to see him hurt. If he could take something from her, then she would take something from him. The first time she had failed, but now she was making sure he was the one crying in the end.

“I hope you make the best decision. I ain’t thinking about that mother of my child shit anymore.” Wise warned as he started walking off. Marie stood there letting her thoughts control her mind.

“You can laugh now, but I’m a get the last laugh,” Marie said getting back in the car. Marie had to get rid of Wise or she was going to die trying.
